Beginner Yoga: Brechin 7:30pm
This is an event series

Yoga can enhance your sense of wellbeing, build a more positive mindset, reduce stress and tension and help to improve sleep.

During these 4 weeks we will learn to focus on our breath and connect with our bodies through our yoga practice in a 75 minute class.

Each week we will build and recap on what we have learned, as we improve flexibility, balance and strength in our physical body, allowing ourselves to settle and relax.

Key Elements

  • Physical Postures (asana): To take care of your body; improve your flexibility, balance and strength; relieve aches & pains.
  • Breathwork (pranayama): Simple breath practices to boost mood and rebalance the nervous system
  • Meditation: To introduce simple short and accessible mediations, inviting mindfulness and to bring calmness.
  • Relaxation (savasana): To relax, take timeout and restore.

All students enrolled will be invited to be part of a private Facebook group to help create a sense of community and to access short practices to use at home should you wish to.

What to Bring & Wear

  • A yoga mat or any exercise mat
  • A blanket for relaxation and a prop for practice
  • If you have a yoga block/s please bring, although I do have spares to borrow.
  • No fancy yoga wear required, just comfy clothes you can move in i.e. leggings and t'shirt
