Deep Rest to Support Our Access to Sleep

Of all the things we can do to nourish ourselves, sleep is perhaps the most vital and during this mini retreat we will focus on finding ways to help improve our sleep.

You will leave feeling rested, ready for a peaceful nights sleep and leave with a tool kit designed to aid your own sleep.

What will happen?

  • You will be welcomed to a cosy and welcoming space where you will be guided through a variety of yoga practices to completely let go, unwind your stresses and leaving you with a sense of calm.
  • This mini retreat starts with setting our intentions for our own wellbeing and then you will be led with a gentle and grounding yoga practice working with the breath to calm our nervous system and become present.
  • Further breathwork practice to help rebalance the mind, followed by restorative yoga supported by pillows and blankets to enable you to relax and restore.
  • We will finish with a beautiful Yoga Nidra, a powerful guided meditation received laying down, comforted by blankets for deep relaxation and rest. Your body will feel soothed leaving you peaceful and renewed.
  • Light refreshments will be provided at the end with time to connect & chat.

Yoga Nidra means yogic sleep, this is a practice of rest which is vital for thriving in our busy lives.

This mini retreat is perfect for:
All levels of yoga experience including beginners.

  • For anyone who needs to de stress, release tension and find inner calm.

I will share a short video of what to bring, in summary please bring with you:

  • A yoga or exercise mat.
  • A cosy blanket (2 would be great). Eye pillow if you have one.
  • A couple of pillows or a bolster.
  • Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in.
    Please dress warmly in layers, as we move into stillness our bodies cool as we engage the parasympathetic nervous system.
