Beginner YOGA Course: Wednesday, 7:30pm Brechin - JAN 25

BEGINNER COURSE

6 x 75 minute classes | Wednesday 7:30pm, 75min class

Yoga can enhance your overall well-being, cultivate a positive mindset, reduce stress, and improve sleep.

In this six-week course, you'll learn to focus on your breath and connect with your body through our yoga practice. Each week, we’ll build on and revisit previous lessons, progressively enhancing flexibility, balance, and strength. This mindful approach allows us to relax and feel more grounded allowing us to settle and relax.

KEY ELEMENTS

Physical Postures (Asana): To take care of your body, improve your flexibility, bring balance and strength, to help relieve aches & pains.

Breathwork (Pranayama): Simple breath practices to boost mood, bring focus, energise or relax and rebalance the nervous system

Meditation: To introduce simple short and accessible mediations, inviting mindfulness and to foster a sense of calmness.

Relaxation (Savasana): Time to unwind, recharge and experience deep relaxation.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

All students enrolled will have access to

  • Access to 6 x 75-minute classes in Brechin.
  • A weekly practice video to use at home.
  • A beginner yoga guide to support your journey.
  • A friendly, welcoming and warm environment to explore the foundations of yoga and experience its benefits for body, mind, heart and soul.

WHAT TO BRING

  • New Students: Please fill out the HEALTH & CONTACT FORM before attending
  • A yoga or exercise mat (let me know if you need to borrow one).
  • Yoga blocks or bricks (blocks will also be provided).
  • A blanket for comfort during relaxation and to sit on.
  • Comfortable clothing you can move in.

Class Blocks: If you can't make a class please let me know a minimum of 24 hours before class, I can offer a space in another class if available which must be taken within the current block. If there are no suitable spaces or no notice is given you will be directed to the online student library.
